The fun side of our road trip

You might live in Montana if...
You consider this "awesome weather"...
(And it really was awesome.)
Clark Fork River/Lolo Nat'l Forrest, Montana

Here are the troops, packed like sardines, stopped for diaper change in Kellogg, ID

You might live in Montana if it takes five hours to see one of these.

Oh, the joy of it all!
Books + in-store Michael Jackson music makes for a happy (and evidently "disco-y") Piedemonster

"Oh, mommy! Madeline wants to come to our house!"

Yes, yes, yes! That's a beautiful pink clearance tag for $2.80
But wait! It only gets better! Our road trip to Spokane also included a new memory.
Quite the fuss was made over the escalator. We don't have one in Montana. My son had not been on one in six years, and Selah had never even seen one before. AREN'T WE DORKS? You've got this family going up and down the escalator at the mall while the ten year old loudly declares, "It's a free ride!"Meanwhile,  mom's in back snapping up photos of it all. There is no shame in our game, that's for sure. Anyway, we were grateful for the  fun diversion!
