Popcorn and a chick flick

Love is in the air, and the hubster is away, so why not pop in a bona fide chick-flick.
I'm trying to decide between one from my top five.

#5 Shadowlands True love story of my favorite author, C.S. Lewis and his wife Joy Gresham

#4 You've Got Mail Sweet, and funny. My one complaint: not enough Greg Kinnear and Steve Vaughn.
 Both guys are quirky scene-stealers.

#3 Pride and Prejudice  I read a lot of Jane Austen in college, and I was fully prepared to "diss"

this rendering of the story. But to my surprise, I loved it.

#2 Emma. Oh Emma, you are such a wonderful movie. It is sweetly funny,
and I especially love the friendship that Emma and  Knightly share. I just might watch it tonight.

#1 IS A TIE that i will list in alphabetical order:

Moonstruck My family has been quoting the hysterical lines from this movie for over twenty years.

It helps if you are Italian, or are intimately aquainted with them-you'll understand the humor better. Actually, it's probably more of a comedy than it is a love story. But I will include it here anyway.

 

Sense and Sensibility  probably one of the greatest love stories ever.

And Elinor Dashwood is one of the best characters ever written.
